Condition of this Website – We are sorry to say that this website is not working properly due to several circumstances. This page is the only one we can partially update. Some links on other pages are broken and cannot be fixed. The good news is that we are cooperating with the national Church office in a grand plan to have websites of interested dioceses and parishes be part of the national Church’s website. So we are staying here for now and are ready to make the migration as soon as it is possible. We do not know how long of a process this will be, so we are grateful for your patience!

Diocesan Youth Gathering and Youth Meeting – Attached are registration materials
for our upcoming Diocesan Youth Gathering which will be held July 21-24 at Walnut
Ridge Retreat Center in Morgantown, IN. The cost is only $150 which includes all
meals, activities, fun and more! We look forward to seeing youth from all of our
parishes at this wonderful event!
Also, our Youth and interested adults will meet this Saturday April 5 at 3pm (ET) /
2pm (CT) via Zoom. A Zoom link has been sent. If you did not receive one and
would like to participate, please contact Fr Sr Charles.
Outreach Tips
The Western Diocese Outreach Team continues to meet on a regular basis. Here’s
our Monthly Tips for this month:
1) Updated Website: One key method in reaching parish members and the
community is to create and maintain an updated parish website. The parish website
might contain some history of the PNCC as well as of the parish but should also
contain a current calendar of upcoming events. It is also very important to include
contact information such as a phone number or email address so someone can reach
out if he or she has questions about the PNCC, the parish or any upcoming events.
2) Facebook Page: A second tool in reaching parish members and the public is to
create and maintain a facebook page. The facebook page can include parish contact
information such as the address, a phone number, an email address and/or the parish
website address. It is a great way to post daily meditations or prayerful thoughts as
well as notifying viewers of upcoming events and then posting pictures of events that
have taken place. It is always nice to see how active a parish is through the pictures
of events they host or participate in within their community.

Chrism Mass / Blessing of Oils – This year’s Chrism Mass will take place on
Tuesday April 15 at St. Mary’s Parish in Parma, OH, beginning at 4pm (ET). Prime
Bishop Anthony will be the celebrant, with diocesan priests concelebrating. The oils
that are used in sacraments in our diocesan parishes will be blessed during this Mass.
All are welcome to attend and be part of this important and interesting event!
